Evergreen hits pegmatite highs ahead of busy drilling program

Evergreen Lithium Ltd (ASX: EG1) – which is focused on exploring in the Northern Territory – has picked up another crop of pegmatite targets from a recent phase of geochemical sampling at its Bynoe project.

More than 1,700 samples were yielded from the Phase 3 sampling work, revealing the presence of large-scale lithium mineralisation similar to what previous exploration work had already indicated across the tenement.

Evergreen now plans to carry out a comprehensive program of drilling – including auger, a combination of rotary air blast (RAB) and aircore (AC), plus reverse circulation (RC) drilling.

This will be done to pin down the project’s geochemical and geophysical anomalies, which will be further delineated through a future program of diamond drilling.

Exploration manager Andrew Harwood said the soil sampling results boosted confidence in the project area, and helped point the way for the upcoming exploration.

“These final soil results add to the picture that the Bynoe Project has great LCT
pegmatite potential,” he said.

“Yet another soil anomalous area to the east is a significant outcome for the company.

“Using a variety of proven exploration tools such as auger, RAB and RC drilling, the team is looking forward to the upcoming exploration season to further test the potential of the project.”

Evergreen Lithium is trading at 9c.
