A picture is worth a 1000 words - it's all about there POG - the commodity always leads, and the massive breakout of the POG since the beginning of March, is dragging gold producers to previously unimagined levels - every time I take profits, the POG and RED go higher.
The prospect of GMD making a counter offer for RED at or above the current SP seems unlikely.
The geopolitical events pushing the POG higher should worry all - if the ME conflict expands, expect very very high oil prices, and hence AISC will be hit big time, along with there struggling households.
Soon, it will be time to ditch technical analysis, based on longer term RED charts - RED when operating Siana, is very different to the Leonora development phase RED, which will be very different to Big RED post merger - perhaps a name change, along with the expected share consolidation will make that point obvious and easier ? .... ditto with NST post merger with Saracen .... will GMD and big RED ever become Mini-NST ??
