Essentially it means ARU no longer needs to review the spot price. Why? We have combination of 25% increase in price above whatever the spot price, that could be achieved by selling into the US (thereby creating competition for demand from the west), and also a 10% reduction in processing costs as per the budget released on Tuesday.

An amazing outcome that is underplayed at the moment.
Our SP went up by 1-2c, which means the news hasn’t been factored in at all…as this represents immunity from difficult trading years during a low price cycle. Couple this information with the Phosphoric acid credit.
The question remains? How well will the board play this information, hopefully they redo contracts further in our favour?
