Cmon moonie he saw an issue getting allot of public pressure and jumped on it to gain as much political capital as possible - what possibly could go wrong. Now we are going to have a national cabinent with knee jerk reactions to the issue to try and make him look good.
Yes this is an important issue and it should be addressed but there is no easy solutions and ramming education down peoples throats constantly isn't going to fix it either. Reality is we should probably have a RC into society violence full stop - not just one pet area that is currently getting all the press. Lets look at everything male, female, aboriginal and cultural violence in particular - lets hear about it all and shape laws for all not just one group. Plus we have to tread carefully to protect the innocent from malicious allegations
