And the unintended consequence of enforcing around the clock RNs is that there is a staffing shortage and Nursing home beds closing. its a typical Labor brain fart that was not considered before pushing it through to honor an election promise. We had a Nursing shortage in this country before this, but instead of the Government having a plan and saying, we will fund training and upskilling of nurses from AIN to EN to RN and we will have around the clock RNs in a couple of years, they just force through legislation and leave Nursing Homes to sort it out. But we have been told they have a plan ?????
