The Jews built a temple (the Western Wall was part of this structure} of course The Mount. Destroyed by Babylon about 3000 years ago. The wall remaining is also known as wailing among other terms. Much of the structure and a passage underneath is bluestone I don't know how it was cut then - we use wet diamond.
