@JCoure; it's my assessment that the behaviour of Netanyahu's genocidal regime ever since October 7th, 2023 demonstrates they couldn't give a rat's rear end about the Israelis taken hostage.
That's what many Israelis are currently protesting about - demanding Netanyahu call fresh elections.
IMO it suits Netanyahu's genocidal regime's ethnic-cleansing agenda for them to string Israelis along in the false hope that Hamas is still holding live hostages. The harsh reality is that most of the Israeli hostages have likely been blown to smithereens courtesy of Netanyahu's regime's deployment of US bunker-busting bombs.
