The last guys who rushed into production (GGY) got their asses handed to them on a plate, and didn't properly drill out or even sterilize the project properly, at this stage with such uncertainty as to the size, grade and orientation of the potential orebodies it would be stupid to rush into production now until they resolved the edges, the number of ore zones and approximate scale of what is there. I don't want to be moving a waste dump, doing a cutback or dismantling infrastructure to put somewhere else in the future. Do it properly this time and get it right. This is not a marginal "swing producer" that needs to rush to production to catch the tailwinds of temporary metal prices, it is now looking like a possibly robust Tier 2 or even Tier 1 gold mine that could survive gold price cyclicity once they have an achievable mine plan and a right-sized mill.
