A hostile takeover isn't possible, but a purchase that's ends up cheaper would be their goal. They can settle out of court, but future royalties would still need to be obtained. If its true and they have embedded into their system, it would also be expensive to remove.
A serious purchase where even the board members would accept isnt out of the cards. The company is on its death knees and JPM only strength is to litigate this out until Id8 cannot afford to pay the bills.
