This must help in the eyes of a regulator, shows a willingness and perhaps admission from Star they were not achieving the desired change as quickly as they wanted. When so many jobs and tax revenue is at stake for the NSW government, and arguably reputational damage that a regulator has effectively participated in the destruction of a company in lieu of giving them more time to change, I think there is still, given time and space, a chance to rebuild this Company. Agree with Bruce’s accumulation strategy here, follow the smart money perhaps?
