Creasy, Germans, SQM, Gina and CE hold about 75% of AZS - then there are other top 20 holders which held about 20% previously so do we have over 85% or maybe even 90% more held by top 20 - no one knows - not much left for anyone else to build a stake.
SQM bid is dead unless and effectively they will not achieve 50.1% ie control unless one of the other top 5 sells - so maybe no more bids from SQM.
Where will the SP go now?
Some fund managers suggested it would fall from $3.50 but it went to over $4 while a lot of people thought a LTR SP fall scenario was going to happen. They were all wrong so far.
But it’s only been a bit more than a week since the SQM bid - anything is possible now.
I have no idea what will transpire next week or next few weeks or months. Will CE keep buying or not or will Gina buy more (it seems she is still 18.3%.). If they both keep buying g top 5 will hold about 85%.
So many possible scenarios and who knows where the SP will go up or down?
