Refiners don't build and operate themselves.
I'm not trying to "justify a continuation of the status quo" - that's just you. I'm just highlighting the facts and also what respected leaders say (and none of them post on HC either).
The win will be as an integrated miner/refiner with long term contracts with a long term partner (as I suggested - listen again to Paul Graves). I don't doubt that NAL will get to the refining stage ... it is as James suggests "a no brainer". But it wont get there under the capital structure that is SYQ at present.
Your epiphany came earlier and I suspect another will come in time.
