What kind of logic is that? Nowhere did I say or imply bad actors were deterred by signs. Try not to misrepresent people in future.

Bad actors as you call them have never used a drone to attack a public area in the past, in fact anyone planning an attack in a public place like a square would never use a drone for such an attack. Why would they when they use a highly visible and trackable device requiring an extremely sophisticated timing or explosive mechanism (it has to explode on the point of release or impact) when they could just walk in and mingle with the crowds and drop off a backpack with a much cruder and more reliable mechanism?

Also DRO's technology does not destroy the drone or any explosives on board. No one in their right minds would buy this technology for this purpose because in the event of an attack the drone would be disabled and bought to ground at some random spot and then the explosion would be triggered. Could you imagine how embarrassing it would be for a city if they used this technology in an attack and they disabled it and it fell in the middle of a group of people and then blew up? They would also open themselves up to being partially liable for the deaths. Of course the cities could buy kill technology, wouldn't that be a great idea in an area packed with people?

These cities aren't stupid and they are all making the same decision to not buy this technology because the threat of a backpack type explosion is at least thousands of times greater. If they were going to upgrade security it would be directed at real threats like facial recognition and the ability to identify suspicious backpacks, not anti-drone technology.

As for the signs, they will deter actors acting in good faith, so if in the extremely unlikely event that someone did attempt to use a drone to attack people, it would be immediately identified as suspicious.

DRO is not even attempting to sell into this market because it recognises it is not part of the anti-drone market. Why are people like you claiming it is when even DRO itself is not making these claims?

That's not to say the technology is not useful, it is, but only in the context of protecting sites that cannot be easily infiltrated such as a battleship in the middle of the ocean, or a secure facility of some kind.
