• Large commercial samples of NdFeB sent to three new customers in last few weeks – one in Europe and two in Korea – these samples are the final step in the product validation process
• Mix of established and emerging magnet producers - the two new prospects in Korea are emerging magnet producers
• ASM seeing good movement in the downstream part of the supply chain with KMP but critical to source feedstock – over and above Dubbo
• The recent LOI funding commitments from EXIM and EDC for Dubbo have triggered stronger interest from other jurisdictions/engineering companies - on top of the existing and ongoing offtake discussions
• Outside Japan/China, Jack states ASM are the only company in this critical metals supply chain game and with the right business model
• ASM getting strong interest in replication of the KMP metals plant template in both US and Europe
• Rowena indicated the model of initial supply of metals to US/European companies from KMP then transitioning to US/European plants as demand lifted
• Plans being made to scale KMP beyond the nameplate 3600 tpa capacity (only at 600 tpa currently)as needed
