The company will need the share price to be well above $3.80 in the final couple of days before the closure of the SPP. Most investors will wait until the final moments before they make a call of getting involved which is logical. Gold prices have dropped down towards $2000usd in recent days and copper prices are still struggling. I suspect this extension decision is a delaying tactic to see if both commodity prices can rebound in the next fortnight and help us get back to $4 late January and ensure more investors get involved.
