the hype on electric cars is just that, hype.

in an ideal world copper would be skyrocketing as governments across the globe throw trippions at building their electric infrastructure……problem is no one has trillions to spend so it will never happen.

electric cars are great for people who live in a specific circumstance - (typical) city dweller with garage/driveway for charging. Many don’t live this way.

I live 30 min out of a capital city and the electric car infrastructure doesn’t exist (supply capacity or charging stations). Who is going to stump up the millions for power generation, transmission lines and charging infrastructure?
