You're missing the whole point of my pulling Load up on his comments. EV vs MC is quite simple to understand. When comparing different companies you will get a better understanding of how they're valued by using EV, not MC, because MC doesn't take into account cash on hand or debt on the books. No need to start talking about DFS's, NPV, IGV, etc. That's a totally different discussion.
