due to fear from margin calls. if US markets tank again tonight then we will probably see decent size of margin calls that will force people to sell everything. in such scenario we will see gold stocks go down even if POG breaks through $2300usd.
it will be short lived as margin calls washout in few days (depending on the severity of the falls in the markets) but it will present the last buying opportunity in cheap gold stocks.
btw - US recorded six decent size bankruptcies in Apr compared to 11 in all of March.
