Jeremy Shepherd may know all things Pearl, but he is no maths professor. His estimates for annual price increases imply a total increase since 2021 of 15000% (!), not 375%. But it does seem that due to increased oyster mortality and hence diminished supply, we may well see even higher auction prices in April. I too believe that Atlas has delayed the next auction to try to improve general Pearl size. Working capital constraints had prevented this in the past, but clearly not any longer. I like the way the company is being managed - so much easier in good times!
