The only saving grace could be, that they did pump almost 6 mill back to realtek, for what we don't know, apart from whats been released to date, if that is indeed a chip, and its a JV chip, there maybe interest in it, depending on what it is, and what it does. But that is a big IF, because all the other main player chips that I know of, already have the one chip solution, so unless its something totally new to market, and its a game changer, can't see that either, but you never know, AD and the team are very smart, they may just pull a rabbit out of the hat.

On the FDA side of things, its just paperwork, it really is no big deal, its like getting CE FCC approvals, its just a process you go through. Far more costly though than those other two. They already have FDA for the other device, no biggie getting it for the new one, thats just smoke and mirrors.
