Another "possible" interpretation of the 'contact' photo at 476.1m. Diamictic sediments above basement....(cf Kamoa/Kakula etc in DRC).
I note you revised the interpretation in later posts as the 'drunken walk' towards a fuller picture usually entails. Ditto what is below.

I have discussed the nature of the unconformity in broad terms with RM and others over the years. Funny beast in that in some areas it is sharp and glacially polished (Calibre and Rudall U deposit area where it is at surface apparently) to significantly weathered as at Winu.
The glacials are well lithified at this depth unlike higher up in the sequence where major problems were encountered at Havieron and in various drill holes that had to be abandoned at Calibre/Winu and probably other areas.

The stratigraphy of the Paterson is generally reported as sedimentary with some dyking and granitic intrusives. Pyroclastics/Volcaniclastics are not something that is common if even present - though in such a large area much is possible.

Surprised that the sulphides formed a "plume" transcending the contact. Given the many hundreds of millions of years the contact represents I wonder what the process was? Even if the dashed yellow line in the foliated lithology is sulphide bearing why would there be some leakage. Seems to be the case so over to the academics etc....
What is the lighter coloured material on the right hand side of the lower part of the core? Vein/felsic dyke????
Foliation relative to core axis shows drilling almost down 'dip'.

Stepping back to the core tray photo of the contact.

This photo shows the contact and variably coloured lithologies below with some veining and ?alteration. I don't know about the alteration: Bleaching for the light grey areas? Amphibole alteration in the darker areas? Or simply different lithologies?
The detail of the contact shows that the darker area is probably a foliated meta ?sediment that shows up much darker in the larger core tray photo.
    Markings on the core:
Blue line = bottom of hole which is used to orient features in 3D (when the core is competent and drillers recover enough to put it back together like a huge jigsaw. Without this line there is only the relation of features to the core axis which is useful but only relative to the hole - With multiple holes a 3D pattern can be guessed at.
Yellow ticks - Perhaps bedding or foliation but puzzle me. These marks would be consistent with the foliation in photo B.

Other features include moderately complex veining, irregular alteration and perhaps brecciation (triangle symbol). Bedding vs alteration margins in orange.

Lot of information gained by drilling and orienting core vs RC.

120m to the veining at 709 tray 57? Large gap with little of interest?
Compared to NCM's 1990 drilling of "geophysical blips" the veining, alteration and brecciation observed is a distinct positive vs all the targets except perhaps Havieron which remains to be more fully tested...and assayed.

Fairly subtle hematite alteration and brecciation in the image IMO.

Full on Havieron brecciation and alteration is these images from the Next Gen Presentation paper.

Apologies for the presentation of this paper it is a challenge, in many ways, to even have it here.

Brings the conversation to @Onceover's comments about the annular nature of Havieron and the chance that TS1 has adequately tested this possibility. IMO at best Tetris will be its own variation of Havieron with inherent local variations as will be the case with the new Parkland prospect relative to Telfer. Some features will match but differences will also be there.

Some ancient images (plus my additions post hole 5 of GGP).

    Hole 1 121m @ 2.93 g/t Au, 0.23% Cu
    Hole 5 353m down hole intersection (with 78m of dyke usually excluded) 118m @ 3.04 0.84% 78 barren 157m 6.04 0.44%.

The rest is history and still going >1000m below the unconformity.

Tetris has some of the hallmarks of this style of deposit so more drilling hopefully after some positive, if thin, geochemical results. The value of multi element geochem these days can not be under estimated.

2024 an interesting year for AZY.... hopefully.
