In general i agree with Gareth's point of view. The deal structure suggests an entity existing for at least another year. Hay talking up the relationship with Ganfeng. Both previously indicating more JVs together on downstream. Ganfeng needing to maintain its foothold in the Western markets becoming hostile to China based production. We should expect something along these lines and try to focus on the positives - transferring capital to safer shores for advanced projects ready to grow, with an industry heavyweight behind every strategic decision. This to me is more compelling than the expectation of a 40c dividend/capital return and some cheap brownfield site to work on.
