Yeah, I know mate, selling shareholder assets for funding seems to be a common theme for NMT over the years.

Anyway, it could be 5 - 10 years before royalties come in for the VRP tech, it could be more or it could be less, who knows. Whoever the buyer is will have to go through the whole process again, the same one NMT & CM underwent. They're not going to pick up where NMT left off. NMT is selling the tech, not an off-the-shelf plant from Ikea. What if the new owner of the tech is in Canada? Brazil?

They will have to....

Find a feedstock partner.
Find an offtake partner.
Find a site to build a plant.
Undergo environmental impact studies.
Obtain environmental approvals.
Obtain government approvals.
Undergo a DFS.
FEED studies.
Get financing approvals.
Built a plant.

Yada, yada, yada, the list goes on.

That all takes years, it's not going to get done in the next 6 months. NMT hasn't even sold the tech yet, so it might take years just for that to happen. As far as I'm concerned, the project is in a coma, on life support & will be for years to come.



How much is Spargos worth? I don't think it would be worth much.

Cavendish is suggesting Barrambie could be worth around $10M. With the current cash burn that could last anywhere from 6 to 12 months.

This thing is a complete trainwreck! No wonder the shorts were all over this. The road to hell is paved with good intentions & I think NMT is living up to that adage.
