The announcement indicates some clearing took place in 2017. Seems the impact of this has not caused any detrimental effect to the flora/fauna and overall environment otherwise we would have heard about it by now, surely. Also it appears the drilling / clearing proposal is not in contravention of the EPA Act and the EPA gave it the all clear as we know. I suspect the EPA itakes an objective view of matters where external "influences" voice objections.
