SVM pretty much have a blocking stake ( considered 15% for scheme ... ) a bit less right now but easily could get there in a day if needed. So i don't think thats likely.

I would speculate that's what happened.
Once again i personally think mr hume has barely any skin in the game so why would he want to sell the company? i don't see the incentive from his point of view.
