An OTA is a form of "take or pay" agreement. They are binding agreements. Lenders want to see binding OTA because they secure cash flow.

The term "entitlement" is just that ... PLL has TITLE to 113,000Ktpa or 50% of annual production (whichever is greater). TITLE -- meaning just like a land has "title" so to does the ore and SC produced. PLL must take title to what they signed up for ... or pay the break fee

Now @Kevo88 the OTA that PLL has is most definitely with SYQ .... SYA is NOT IN THE PICTURE. It is why some of us keep trying to tell some others how the cash flows around the JV .... and why PLL gets actual cash from its SC sales and SYA does not (it remains in SYQ).

What you guys are appearing to be arguing over is "ALLOTMENT". I remember an AGM where Loui jumped out of his tree, when BL (so it was the AGM before the most recent AGM) fumbled/stumbled along and said PLL would get the first 113Kt of SC produced at NAL. Now that was walked back and then later a more sensible clarification was put out.

SYQ ... (and remember ... SYQ is also governed by a shareholder agreement for certain things ... like going downstream, put NAL on C&M ... important things like that) has important decisions to make around cargo allotments and then the timing of cargoes. No one party is going to spite the other. There was talk of alternating shipments. The cadence of shipments hasn't been released. It was raised on PLL's Q4 earnings call ... which I've provided for you to read. More clarity will come in PLL's Q1 Earnings call. ESPECIALLY take into account what Michael White is saying about backloading of the lifting schedule.

So cmonaussie....tell it how it is....why dont you tell all here what it really means to Sayona...I have but there seems to be alot wearing Rose Coloured Glasses...but you know I know that Piedmont and its Lawyers along with the Exwankerbanker bent the BoD's over and absolutely shafted the whole fkin lot of them in one hit and thats because the Sesame Street Gang were incapable at the highest level to understand that they were being bent over an driven up the Greek Highway and its why Sayona is screwed until such time as they make a firm commitment to go downstream...its not that hard to see who screwed who is it.
