was a good product idea......if the underlying LIC market wasn't so so so crap!
Trapped capital for investors = boats and large houses for the managers and a lot less motivation to do a good job managing the money!!!
Something needs to be done collectively in this LIC space of equity managers.
Needs more regs and more transparency.
Unfortunately a great marketing example for passive funds of where dough eyed cloud staring active managers in Australia put tyre marks on you.
