I don't know but it doesn't seem to have worked too well.
Although ADT has been threatening to breakout for a while.
BTW I don't think they set the buy orders at 1 share this it an automated small (sequential) buy that was subdivided to a number less than 1 share and rounded up to that. I do not think that the bots are there to manipulate the share price per se. I think they are set to buy or sell in small increments over a time frame. Iif the liquidity in the share isn't there then it transacts on what happens on the time triggers (subdivided by the anmoutn it is set to transact).
I certainly dont like it but now I benefit from the liquidity. You have some retailers tight as a fish. They get triggered to +/- not s(h)it or get of the potty.
All IMVHO.
