What is happening in Eastern Luni? The recent assays for holes 105 and 107 are on the margin of the geophysically interpreted carbonatite. As are holes 92 and 93 along the south east margin. Future targets which require interesting choices with the priority of drilling.

To the NE there are two holes of ENR (82 & 83) which are reported as containing carbonatite with low grade Nb (<=0.26%) with intervals to 100m of even lower grade. ENR will test their Green geophysical target NE of here later this year. Arcuate magnetic feature with limited gravity vs the east of Luni with what type of geophysical signature (low halo of grav and some mag??).

On a wider view I noted @ozblue 's comments about Sambahr being the source for Luni. IMO that is a bit of a stretch but time will tell.

A possible relative sequence of local events.
1 Reynolds Range sediments including BIF's formed very c1800Mya
2 Left lateral faulting off set 1 ?age
3 Endurance faulting and others ?age
4 very uncertain but emplacement of Luni and other carbonatites in the Chewings Orogeny 1570-1590+- Mya.

For Sambahr to be the "source" of Luni requires IMO a pulse of carbonatite into the system at a date much after the Reynolds Range/Lake Mackay quartzite units. Not impossible but IMO unlikely.

Very interesting area Luni Sambahr Emily Green.

BIF at Urmia (drill hit), Hoschke (EAL1), Sambahr and a look alike to the east on Agrimin ground. Some BIF noted by Toro to the SW c2010.
A lot of revision to come for the West Arunta geology as drilling gives feed back.

Awseome work, really appreciated, never been tempted to hold this beast? You probably know more about it that 99% of the people on here.
