They claim they built upon the Rock to which the gates of hades would not prevail upon = In no way whatsoever, anything would prevail. BUT by Jo, did it prevail on them BIG time for hundreds of years. The fact of the matter is though, the Rock that the Church = (people) would be built upon is -> That Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God = ZERO gates of hades will prevail on that TRUTH. Where as building it on an ordinary man, who was a living stone, as he defines others, Jesus would NOT have said the gates of hades will not prevail, and you naturally would have other men coming after Peter.
It is ones duty to investigate as to WHY there are so many thousands of differing faiths, as due to the likes of the Comforter area, if truth was held on the overall, that should be impossible = ALARM BELLS.
Hence, logic and common sense should tell one, that there must be a common link of a sort. So naturally one should look to see what they teach on the key core basics of who and what the Father and Son are. Based on their very questionable said records (???), which go back to around the 100's, the trinity began growing legs. Now based on the Bible, that is CLEARLY false teaching, resulting in the CC being the mother of harlots based on those two unquestionable truths.
Sadly, most break aways from them, came away with at least some of these key core corrupted roots = resulting in the numerous differing faiths.
