The fact of the matter is though, the Rock that the Church = (people) would be built upon is -> That Jesus is the Christ the Son of the Living God = ZERO gates of hades will prevail on that TRUTH.

The church referred to is the people. You do have the odd moments of brilliance.
Where as building it on an ordinary man, who was a living stone, as he defines others, Jesus would NOT have said the gates of hades will not prevail, and you naturally would have other men coming after Peter.

That's nothing but a CC spill, gates of hades not prevailing means ZERO prevailing and that can only be on The Rock = Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God.
The Bible is LOUD and CLEAR, it says Jesus is The Rock.
Peter was simply one of many living stones, just as He says people are.

Jesus did NOT say, upon you Peter I will build my Church and that is an absolute truth, no such words of Jesus's exist.
Neither does the Bible tell us, that you must find out what a name means, to interpret a verse.
That is pure desperation from the CC, to try and support their LYING claim, that salvation does not exist outside of them.

Jesus told Peter NO such thing, you are inventing things and ADDING to scripture, which is clearly NOT there.
He was saying that he will build the Church on Peter's ANSWER to the question Jesus asked, to which the answer, Peter could only have gotten from God.

Not to mention, Jesus would know full well that he could NOT make a statement, that the gates of hades will not prevail on man, including the ones following Peter.
