I'd say from the experience in my own line of work, DFS is likely to be delayed by ~12 months if not more. Do not believe anyone (including BOD) that says otherwise. I have a fair bit of experience in mining rail projects and development of associated studies, here in Australia, and it is not a simple task.

Seeing that the previous study didn't have those facilities in the original DFS...that means that part of the new study will be starting from scratch. New engineering, new materials surveying, new additional compliance studies, etc. The other point is that they will now have to reconfigure the plant layouts to fit a new site, as well as introduce new way of receiving material for processing, which is also tedious and takes a lot of time.

The other point that most people are likely do not remember is that the original facility was mixing waste/spent ore + coal ash with cement in a batching plant to backfill stopes and tunnels, it will be a bit more tricky now as the waste ore/sludges will have to travel back via train from the Prunerov, which means another loading/unloading facility, and likely a different type of carriages for the transport.

So whilst I am optimistic about the news, we should be all aware that the DFS is delayed by minimum of 12 months.
