Yesterday's shorts ...ARU ARAFURA RARE EARTHS LTD FPO 2,298,498 2,310,302,192 .09AND ... a further 2.3m shorts yesterday.
Given the state of the US charts and tax-loss-selling in 6 weeks or so ... the shorts are now in control so they'll probably base it at 19 as best they can and churn the 19-19.5 gap for a while ... then let's see what happens next.
Here's the ASX website for DAILY shorts ... updated just after 11am the next working day ... so it's very up to date (not 100% reliable but pretty good and VERY topical.

The aggregated short position is here https://www.shortman.com.au/stock?q=aru it's 3-4 days delayed and as can be seen is nearly as high as late November last - being roughly 157m shorts now v's 160m shorts then.
But this doesn't include the last two days ... 4.5m shorts ... so the current level will be greater at 162m shorts - looking for them to start unwinding soon ... it should be obvious.
