Show us the evidence ("gottcha") of exactly what Thomas taught, or are you just making assumptions?
Thomas referenced, acknowledged, the God dwelling in Jesus, as he was previously tolled, pre the cross. John 14:5.10.
I reference the 100's that I mention, based on info ppm provided (credibility?) as to what they partially began to follow at that time and then aligned that with the Bible, which clearly shows they must have began at around this time, to start running off the truth trail, which progressed (expanded somewhat) at least by the 3 -400's.
