That's a really good read, thank you. But how do you see the controlling stakes being built that you are talking about? Are you saying the shorting is to shake out weaker holders, and that the shorters will turn long when they have got stock prices to more distressed levels? If so, they'll have to close the short positions and then be aggressive in the market to accumulate. It's not easy to accumulate large positions in such circumstances because prices can get squeezed up very quickly.

I noticed on Friday last week that PLS closed regular hours trading at $3.83, then in the auction huge volume on the bid took it to a $4.10 finishing position. Maybe that is one strategy in play - drive it down during the day and mop up large in the auction. We'll see. i thought that action last Friday might have signaled a rebalancing or similar in a large Lithium fund (ETF?), but not sure.
