Snapping up shares can actually give you a bit of a say in what a company does. AVZ has been pretty low-key on X during this debacle, but they just dropped a post about the unsolicited purchase of shares. The only ones poking around for shareholder info in the past year were Fat Tail & Shane Eastwood. AVZ clearly isn't thrilled about these guys attempting to stock-up on their shares.
It's intriguing, though hardly surprising, to witness just how efficient AVZ can communicate when their own interests are on the line.
