On the 8th May 2021 the Jewell well was spudded. The first “big” well with Brookside as the operator. Was it going to be successful in finding oil? Would it be drilled without incidents, would there be cost blowouts? It was a big moment for Brookside. Then came that frisson of excitement as it proved up.
Three short years ago.
Now we have four Swish wells, all drilled successfully, a four well multi well development programme underway, and plans laid in for a full field development starting in 2025.
Not so shabby progress operationally, and just yesterday it was announced we will participate in Continental’s Gapstow ffd.
finally we are starting to achieve decent scale as a company
Swish has great economics, even in the event of a downturn in oil prices, but real cream to be had if prices stay robust in the medium term.
Really what’s not to like about our prospects?
