When the batteries working life ended (only after a few years due to twenty-four hour, seven day use),
the cost of replacing them with new batteries was prohibitive, so they ran them as straight petrol vehicles.
Germany's EV sales has slumped by 29%, due to the government cutting subsidies, everyone wants the
poor tax payer to kick the can for their lifestyle.
