Someone is telling outright fibs on another thread that Starpharma’s 22.5% shareholding in Petalion is perpetual. This is clearly false.

My submitted webinar question was:

Does Starpharma expect to have to make a direct cash investment into Petalion Therapeutics in the future to maintain the 22.5% equity holding or similar?

CM’s answer was:

All of those things have been considered in the agreement. We have worked very hard with Medicxi around making sure that we have the best outcome for them and for us. We are confident that options are covered in the agreement, but not to go into that detail in this agreement.

So quite clearly the 22.5% stake is dilutable. But Starpharma don’t want to reveal how they may avoid this. Tipping in our hard earned cash is usually the way. Or perhaps some financial instrument or share swap whereby Medicxi are gifted shares in Starpharma thereby diluting us shareholders.

Swimming with sharks now with our IP for no cash in return. Schooled IMO.
