I think your argument doesn’t cover any of the solutions already available to hind identity and transact securely. There will be trade offs for many who come after, and yes settlement on the base layer will be a luxury, yet atm everyone participating should make sure their UTXO’s are nice and fat before withdrawing them from exchanges for sell custody.
oh and what about batched transactions how do they fit into your thesis? The 7 transactions / sec has just been X’d magnitude greater than your statement. yes if you are using a second layer like lighting will be a fee to open ch on lighting but can be maintained open for future transactions. I think a lot has changed since you last looked at BTC.
Oh and is it right, at the start of this bull run, your humble view is to sit idly by waiting while the network gets stronger?? while everyone sees the $ slide in purchasing power against BTC you would rather sit and watch waiting for a system that has already be invented.
