might be a good while befiore the US$ gets replaced yes ....China buying Au to support the RMB ....fools believe in BRIC'S currency - China will alwyas use RMB which dooms the concept of BRICS currency wishful thinking
I don't mind the idea of a basket of currencies ...or commodities , personally but I am a big believer in all countries having their own currencies (whatever happens to be fiat)
I'm no ecomist but do understand the basic principal that when you have nationally managed economies you must have national currencies or you rob yourself of "monetary control " as a lever for a weakening (or rampant ) economy
a potential problem for Euro countries ....and Greece experienced this
