in another biotech stock i hold that is headquarted in aus and listed on asx and nasdaq, the US tends to react stronger. one theory is that is because they have a greater understanding and more experience with the pharamacutical industry, fda procedures etc.
given the recent share price fluctuations are closely related to pharma activity, it is interesting to note that the US has again taken the lead on fri share price rise.
another recent example was the greater fall in nasdaq after eli lilli announcment which was more moderate here.
i havent been following the trend with price differences on exchanges with resmed, but i often see with msb the asx price often doesnt quite come up to match and rarely overtakes the excitement in nasdaq. maybe aussies are just more conservative in general. i guess we will see soon enough.
