What utter nonsense. Why do you think we have defamation laws? It's the same thing...people saying things defamatory against others which are not fact. Same goes for information. People can post what they believe is fact even though logic and research says it's dumb. ie flat earth. Posting the earth is flat when you believe it is or isn't has the same impact on the gullible and challenged one's. Some people believe what they read, especially if it appeals to them or somehow makes sense of something. The conspiracies around 9/11 are pure nonsense when you apply logic and research, but many people believe a missile hit the pentagon because it's easier than believing the reality, and satisfies an irrational distrust and fear of authority. Thats why having a forum of like minded people who choose to swallow every conspiracy that comes along can be dangerous depending on the conspiracy. I go back to the teachers in West Qld who murdered 2 police officers and a neighbour. Those 3 were tied up to conspiracies which overtook their lives. 2 of them were school teachers. Thats the impact that unhinged b.s can have.
