"By the One in Whose hand is my self, definitely the son of Maryam will soon descend among you as a just judge, and he will break the cross,2-One of the main lessons from this miracle event is that space and time are not subject to the laws of nature for humans..."

The problem is that your soon may be in fact a never never and to come here as a judge is not the same as coming here as a prophet to restore the original word of God adulterated by the passage of time.

Therefore, since Mohammed is the last of the prophets then the next one in line with the task of having to restore God's word has to be Mohammed again, descending from heaven mounted on a Buraq.

"All religious traditions share the concept of miracles, that is, something that defies logic, nature or establisrhed constitution and the course of events."
    .

Since the pre-historical days that people have been free to assigned to any object be it a real or imaginary one, all sorts of attributes. For instance, Muslims do believe that Mohammed went to the heavens and back mounted on the back of a horse-like creature, something that defies logic and everyday observation. However, I do believe that there are times when they may question the veracity of that myth.

As to the fact that all religions share the concept of miracles, that does not mean that such miracles are true.
