Friedrich Nietzsche put it this way-
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could
not hear the music. “
so too it is difficult for a more intelligent and non fixated, logical and mentally ordered mind to comprehend the thoughts and emotions of simple people with strong biases and an inability to think through even the most basic concepts
it’s possible to intellectualise it, but it’s impossible to really understand it
It’s like watching someone with a phobia when they’re experiencing it - you can see it, you can empathise a little, you can sympathise a lot - but unless you have experienced it yourself, then you can never really understand it or grasp it emotionally
