now on this I quite agree. its the sharp shock that goes on for months..... until they get out.
its what happens while they're in prison that builds up even more determination once released. there's no effective effort made to address the causes of their abuses.
this is where the justice system fails, not the sentencing. and bail should also be taken more seriously with detailed understanding of the matter, not a 5 minute hearing.
