    There's headway being made on that front though by education and support for those impacted by males who cannot control their violence.
    DV was hidden away 50 years ago because the woman had very little support.

    This is where organisation such as Me Too and others are encouraging women to come forward and offering support not just for sexual assault but also DV. People like Rosie Batty, Grace Tame and to a lesser degree Brittany Higgins represent that progress. It was a huge reason why the previous Govt got ousted due to it's bias against females. Equality and womens rights are on the improve and will keep improving. Men who feel the need to control and abuse and disrespect women are getting weeded out, and rightly so.
