    well, I've been discussing that lately.

    It certainly 'seems' that way, that what we had in the past --------- the leaders with muscle and physical power, who controlled the mob - on horse or with sword - wielding it themselves -

    even when we got to Kings etc - many of them sat on their horse with their sword.

    But as time has gone on - we appear to have left that behind - and ended up with things like fat orange makeup people with bonespurs and Morrison and Howard etc.

    How did that happen? Nature seems to have been left out in the cold there.

    But then Darwins theory can be interpreted in different ways and we know one thing - that survival comes down to onlly one thing - adaptation

    and there's one thing that politicians are very good at ------------ shape changing. Adaptation on the run.

    Masters of the thin silicon morals and values - the ability to turn 180 degrees in a nanosecond.

    ok - hat off to that. It's an amazing survival trait
