yes the fuel tax goes into consolidated revenue. only a small proportion actually goes to roads and this has been the case for many years under both sides of politics.
Morrison's reduction was temporary and din't actually help anyone in any case. it was merely a populist reaction to complaints, which are perennial anyway, about the price of petrol.
but that isn't important. what is of interest is what plans Dud has made for the economy to put to the nation at the coming election.
do you have any ideas because Dud doesn't seem to have any.
