Eddie Betts did not play for Hawthorn,but decided to go on the 7.30 Report to push Hawthorns indigenous players agenda for a racist investigation, which involved both Chris Fagan and Alistair Clarkson.(read my last post where you can find the 7.30 report)
He was the highest profile indigenous player to push the allegations that were dismissed when viewed by the AFL committee.(Both accused are now coaching) Buddy Franklin played for Hawthorn and I have not heard any racist accusations against Clarkson.
